i`m off to Morocco shortly . My log book is registered in my company name and address, not my personal name and address. Does anyone know if this will cause a problem. I have a valid green card with the bike details and my name on it. I suppose I can change the details but don`t really want to put another owner in the log book. Thanks

Get a VE103R and a Letter of Authority from the registered keeper.

It's not that unusual a circumstance--people like Fanum from Moto Morocco are often transporting bikes that don't belong to them and all that's needed is a letter on company headed paper giving you authorisation for you to be using the bike.

If you take the V5C with you I don't think you need the VE103R.

Forget Morocco - you may need the VE103R and Letter in France or Spain.

Take everything you can get. It'd be a real rough deal if you had to go home to get your paperwork.

I had a similar issue when I took my truck over to Morocco, it was registered in my companies name, it did raise questions and a few tuts and wagged fingers, but in the end I feel all the fretting from the border guards was just an excuse to get a bit more backhand cash from me:nenau

It worked I paid up just to get out of there:D

Its better to get a letter from the company giving you permission to drive the bike and use it in Morocco in French and Spanish with loads of company stamps, it worked for me at the Tanger crossing.
