There must be a way of doing it.......but my brain's nor functioning properly.

I've tried the obvious one in Firefox and one in IE but it's a windows login so it's independant of the browser.

I want to have two of my accounts logged in at the same time.

Ideas??

Ah...ooooer......*scratches head*

I've just recieved the notification that i was waiting for.......it still popped up as normal but I'm in on my main account now......to access the message I'll have to sign out then in on the other one but somehow it still popped up though the email was to my 'dodgy use' account.

:nenau

Ah well...result!!!

[email protected] by any chance? :dabone

I bet there is some utility out there on the interweb that will allow you to dynamically switch between two gmail accounts.

I have one gmail a/c configured to use an email client using POP3 & SMTP. The throwaway account, used for registering on dodgy internet sites, is exclusively webmail.

Why have two?

Gmail is spam free and plenty big enough. Just create folders and rules that move mail into them depending on their title or sender. It seems like your trying to complicate things.

Because I use one as a totally clean one and it's linked to me...the other is one I use for signing up to anything I fancy having a look at and giving out to people I don't trust or whatever......I don't mind ditching it at any time, it was created through a temporary email address and I can use it through JAP to make myself totally anonymous and pretty much untraceable.

Simple really.

:)

Then why would you want to log in to the bogus account at the same time?

Just check it once or twice a week.

It seems like your making things hard for yourself by creating two accounts when google deals with spam so well :nenau

Why would anyone need to do this :nenau

If you use Firefox you can log on through the GMail main log on page (or even the Google searck page now) and if you have installed the Gmail notifier extension you can then log onto a different account with that at the same time. I use the Notifier and SWIMBO logs on the main page. :thumb

Just found this..If its any help...Going to try it myself now. :thumb
