Telewest Broadband...360 + PC at the same time?

Having sung the praises of BT on this very forum recently,i've lost patience with them since asking for my connection to be upgraded from 2 meg to 8....it's never worked since.

So,i've had Telewest Broadband,phone and TV fitted.All seems fine apart from the fact my xbox360 and my PC won't connect to the web at the same time .

Called Telewest and they just said" Errr...you'll need a router,but we don't support XBOX live."

Buggers...that's not what yer man told me when I signed up.

So,Old Wise GSers,any ideas on how I hook it up to use both items at once?

I still have my Thomson Speedtouch 530 modem/router from the BT days....Will that work?

Any advice greatly appreciated..

You need a router suitable for use with a cable modem so the old one you have is no use as that is a DSL Router. Available from all good PC shops and anything from the Dixons Stores Group Chain (PC Woe/Currys/Currys Digital).

They may not support xbox but you should find no shortage of support from xbox forums and the like.
