https://www.sercotelhoteles.com/en/hotel-murrieta - this seems a very reliable brand in Spain. Mid priced hotels. This one has garage parking for 13 euros a night and a breakfast buffet not far from Parador standard. No bar or restaurant but fall out of the front door for a choice of dozens.
Logrono is a very nice city for a short break in the middle of a trip. Very pleasant park alongside the River Ebro to walk off breakfast.
This hotel is at the western end of the main drag in the Old Town, Calles Portales. 10 min walk to the cathedral with a real Michaelangelo painting. Loads of bars serving pinchos (tapas) with some streets reminiscent of San Sebastian.
Loads of really nice roads in the area. The NA700 from Pamplona towards Logrono is a cracker.
