I did search, must be something somewhere but nothing came. Just curios.
Why did they offer long and short wheelbase airheads, what years and what models. Which is best.

/5 and early /6 bikes were short wheelbase, this was changed to make the bikes more stabile and to accommodate a larger battery which would more reliably operate THE NEW FANGLED ELECTRIC STARTER

I've a '73 90/6 which is LWB as I thought all /6 models were. I stand corrected!
