Coreracing !!

But its's £510 + VAT + about £50 p+p.

In Oz it's $849 +$30 p+p to Sydney so about £440 all in.Shame the Oz$ is now only 2 to the £ and not 3 like a few years ago.

Phil,

What typical mileage are you doing with standard tank in UK ?

Standard tank gets me up to 120 miles before needing to put 12 litres in.

£510 + VAT (£599.25) for the 30 litre Aqualine tank is not bad when you consider that a standard KTM 950SM tank holds 16 litres approx & costs well in excess of £700. Note that to use the SM tank, you also need the SM seat, the Aqualine sticks with the SE seat.

Personally I'd have liked 20-25 litres max.

But you don't need to fill it right up.

Looks bloody good-quite narrow like the orig.

The guy should have it on his bike in next few days.

110 miles is the best so far :( Riding up to Skye in a couple of weeks will put the 17 t front spocket back on and a set of road Scorps let you know how it go's :thumb2

That tank is a work of art :clap

Now why don't they do one like that for the HP2 instead of all these silly add on side mounted/under seat mounted bits. That looks really good and reasonably priced. Oh and I do like the KTM950SE's too;)

AndyT:cool:

Have you seen the HPN tank? I'd say that was probably nearest... The SE tank does look well executed, as much as it pains me to admit it :augie

Dont Acerbis make them for the SE? I've had an acerbis 22-25L ???? tank for years on my honda xr and it is solid as a rock despite countless crashes. Once something or someone earns my trust im rather loyal so will wait till they bring one out. I like to stretch my legs every 100 or so miles anyway and buy an average sandwich and a £1.30 can of coke so im sure I'll manage with the stock tank for a now.

Ps think its refreshing how hp2 and SE owners seem to be swapping compliments and respecting each others creation, something I have noticed so much amongst the adventure owners. A sure sign that both makers have made something special. (Not that im saying "adventure bikes are getting a bit :hidecommon these days:augie)

You guys ought to stop whinging. Thats about £1000 cheaper than a long range tank for an HP2E:blast

Some pics of actual tank :

I think it looks good.

It comes with a set of side panels, which have been trimmed slightly for better fitment.

You just need to get a set of OE decals,or trim your own OE panels if brave enough.

The dealer in US who fitted it got 248 miles to fuel light and ran it dry at 318 miles !!!

Might be tempted myself.

Hi sorry if this has been covered. I just wired the ktm power port on the dash of my new 950SE (smashing bike). Where are you all buying your small din plugs/leads? Halfords said they only have normal cigarette lighter sizes. Local Bosch said they dont keep them in stock& maplin said they'd have a look on the computer then the phone went dead:(. Im THIS close to asking at the bm dealer if they have any:) Im in beds, bucks,&herts area if anyone can suggest a good auto electric's shop or online place? Thanks. Richard
