I have just planned a 2365 mlie route round europe using 24 way points. Everything seems fine the route looks correct but it only down loads 1204 miles and 11 via points to the gps (2610). The 2610 has a 2gb card in it.

What am i doing wrong?

Will i have to break up the route into days?

Thanks any help will be appreciated as i am off at the weekend

Ignore the CF card - that only stores maps.

Routes and waypoints are stored in internal memory. Have you already got stuff on the unit?

How do you know it's only downloaded 11 via points? Are you searching "Nr Here" or by name?

Hello steve
I have deleted all the routes and way points from the unit and tried down loading again but still the same but this time i got a route trunkated warning

Hello Taff

When you go MENU then select ROUTE then ROUTE LIST the route is displayed by name and on the bottom of the screen it has
1204.0 ml 22hrs 32min 11 via points

Sorry, I thought you were checking on the unit and not Mapsource. The "drag and drop" via points you use to force the route to a particular road won't be included mind - just the waypoints you have added as via points. If you think there's a problem try posting it on here but obviously change your home details etc.

You need to split the route into at least days. Far easier to manage by yourself and the GPS unit :)
