Looking at a R1200GS 2018

The Approved Used Warranty is worth any extra costs buying from a BMW dealer . At point of sale they pay £500 to BMW UK and the cover is for all intents and purposes as comprehensive as the initial 3 year manufacturers warranty .

That's what I did when buying my used 2019 GS. I bought from my dealer and got the extended warranty and tire and wheel as well. It's for three years I think .... nice to have after all those years of getting by with the minimum ....
you never know, a bike with 30000 on it might have some surprises .... right now there is a buz of sorts that is pretty noticeable. kind of like one where a part like a rubber suspended gas tank or something is touching something that is bolted down. after reading many threads on noises, I realize that it might not be that fixable ..... it only does it when moving, sitting at at startup it makes no noise ...
