Thats a good point, he’s 6’2, maybe a bit more. You’re a tall fella, so I assume your lad is too. Maybe worth a look at a Toyota MR2? I cant fit in an MX5, I can in an MR2.
My son is 6ft 5 and drives my MX5 with no issues whatsoever.Thats a good point, he’s 6’2, maybe a bit more.
Mine is going in for a full suspension change early June ahead of a road trip later.View attachment 505077View attachment 505076
We owned this one until a few years ago. Mrs P.E. is tiny and loved it. I'm 6'2" and 18 stone. I could get comfortable but it was snug.
We had a BBR 2OO kit on it and it was very brisk. Good tyres and 4 wheel alignment plus 30mm lowering springs give exceptional handling.

No problem, top down all the timeThats a good point, he’s 6’2, maybe a bit more.

And replied.Thanks Steve, done.
Sorry, but I have to agree that the underseal application looks more like an attempt at bolting the stable door after the horse has bolted. There’s plenty of visible rust on the areas where the underseal has fallen off, but what more is hidden?Paul our Mx5 is an ND so one model younger than this. However I dont think you need to be just an MX5 owner to comment. My concern looking at the photos is the rust seems to be underneath the underseal.
