Hello,
Does anybody know the names of the following parts or where to find the names?

The rubber tank pad/protector? Mine was torn away when I dropped the bike and can't find it anywhere

And the tube on which the rear wheel is rotating on:

Bike is 5 years old, only 6000 miles on it, garaged, taken care of and it started corroding

Thank you in advance,
Orety

The 'tube' that rotates the wheel is actually part of the crownwheel. The nasty part is, BMW does not supply singel parts for the rear drive, except for the oil seals. This means there are two options:
- Replace the complete rear drive
or
- Remove the corrosion from the one you have and keep the bike away from salty roads. This damage is most likely caused by driving on salty roads. Regular rain and dirt alone will not cause such corrosion, so a proper removal and future avoidance will probably be the best medicine.
If cleaning the shaft, I suggest you also remove the plastic ring protecting the oilseal, just to heck to make sure there is no hidden corrosion.

The wheel centre tube corrosion can be dealt with fairly easily by using a Solvo autosol type product on a toothbrush and giving it a really good clean. Then use an Acf50 type product to protect it afterwards. This works quite well...
