Considering putting a tasteful screen (not enormous) on my '81 r80g/s.

Any suggestions where I could source one?

My neighbour has an American 'National Cycles' screen on his '84 GS PD - I think it looks good.

They have a website.

what about a givi ?603a, or a slip streamer spitfire or sport shields those are fairly cheep but excellent.

not sure were to source them but both have web addresses

Voyagers neighbour's bike is fitted with the National cycle deflector screen. I've got one on my g/s - highly recommended

I've used a laminar lip screen extender on my R100GS. Slightly quirky looking but very effective in taking the wind over ones bonce. (www.laminarlip.com I think). Maybe not what you're after but just another alternative to throw into the pot!

I've fitted the National Cycles screen (shown in Voyager's pic and Rob's first link) to my G/S. Very happy with it.

I bought it in the UK from this company:

You'll need the part number from the NC website, as custom cruisers don't speak old BMW!

Not sure if you Guys have Kappa products in the UK too, but they also have plenty nice screens available at reasonable pricing.
I fit a Dakar 650 screen to my DRZ using the kappa bar mounts, works well and should work well on the R80 too. the orginal screens are easy to find secondhand in good condition as many guys upgrade to higher screens.
