Trip is to Nth Spain - Portugal - basically out Oct 6th Sun from Plymouth to Santander - back Oct 15th from Bilbao to Portsmouth (home on Wed 16th)

1 had to drop out - trip at cost (ie Ferry - Hotels - Food - Drinks - Fuel) something i have done before a bit like a wander. Ferry currently running at £290 return but will increase as time clocks on - hotels on the day as and where etc etc.

This is actually a recee for a trip planned for next year on the website but obviously open invite.
7 mates or mates of mates booked. Mainly Derbyshire folk - dont let that put you off, we're a nice bunch - but 1 from Cumbria and 1 from Warwickshire.

Been on two of these and also booked on this one, fantastic wandering trips theres something new round every corner fabulous real spain ya cant beat it proper food proper wine proper good blokes, yes mainly from derbyshire but we not very bright but can lift heavy things

Oct trip

Basic plan for this once landed in Spain is to travel West - destination Galicia - top place this (cities around the route, A Coruna - Santiago - Vigo - Porto then back in to Spain - Salamanca - Segovia - Burgos and Bilbao) a nice run round really.

Everything as stated food - wine - scenery - great roads and a bit of culture .

Update

Had a couple of interested people so far but they could'nt commit, so still 1 available space.

4 from this here site, and you know what they're like and 3 others - mixture of bikes from 2 GS's - KTM 990 - new Triumph - bmw R series and a couple of K bricks so come on whatever you like, as long as it'll do the mileage.

Portugal

Did a little trip down from Santander to Portimao a couple of weeks ago with a mate on a KTM. Rode down the West coast of Portugal going (not very good - too many towns and too much traffic) and back up the centre of Portugal/near the Spanish border returning (good - little traffic and some great roads). One of the best rides of the trip was from Covilha (where we spent the night) out on the N339 through the Serra da Estrela Nat Park and on to Zamora via M and N roads. Breathtaking scenery and great roads. Only about 220 miles but it leaves you buzzing - and the centre of Zamora is a pretty OK place to stay too. Enjoy.

2: Is it steady riding, sightseeing, food and culture or roads roads roads?
