Well, I've started to remove my burnt out loom, going fairly well so far but it looks like I may have another 4 or 5 eve's work yet to do. Does the airbox have to come out?

Anyone done this job before? Can tell me the worst parts of the job to expect? tips etc? and also....how long should it take an "amateur mechanic" like me

And the model of bike is ?

Does it have Servo/ abs, just abs, non abs ?

has the burnt out loom also taken out the neutral/gear indicator switches or any other wiring ?

Oops, sorry forgot to mention all those.


It's a 97 R1100GS with ABS and I've already got the dash light part of the loom to replace too
