I'm halfway through checking my valve clearances and re-gooing the cam cover gasket, but remembered that there was a possibility that one of the head bolts could be loose - anyone know which one? The left 2 and middle 2 are accessible, but access to the 2 on the right is blocked by the ends of the camshafts:blast.
Any thoughts?

Did you have to adjust the clearance on any valve?

Oooh patience gentlemen ..

Ok, I'll take some pics tonight and Kalli, I'm not expecting the tolerances to have changed, it's just that the service schedule calls for them to be checked at 12k miles :nenau. I have to say though that it was a bit of an arse getting the cover off, it needed a fair bit of jiggling and the thick part of the loom on the LH frame rail had to be unclamped as well as the throttle adjuster screw and the injector connectors...

Interestingly, I called CW today, I need the front axle changing and a new fuel guage sender ... When it's in I'll aske them very nicely to reset my service indicator (it was on before I disconnected the battery) and to stamp my service book...
