8,000 miles?????
Are you riding like a lady???
I've only ever had 7,500 from a rear, and even then it was twitchy on white lines and overbanding. And to be honest, I was never fully convinced about them anyway, especially in the wet.
That's exactly what I mean. I never got that kind of mileage out of them before - which makes me wonder if the compound changed for something harder, but offering worse grip/handling. Normally get around about 7 - 8k on a rear Tourance, but thats down to nothing - this one still has plenty of tread left.
Is it possible that you have been using different rated Tourances? I seem to remember a thread on here saying that only certain rated Tourances were now available, and that one type had been discontinued. Perhaps the current ones last longer, but are not as "sticky" as the other ones.
I thought higher rated tyres just had more solid side-walls
I've used H and V rated Tourances before now with no noticeable difference in wear or handling.Pluck
as i have lost confidence in them, almost to the piont i wont go out if its likely to rain!!
