can't get stood up and need to lower the pegs a bit and raise the bars. Suggestions; I don't want to have to change the cables if I can help it what sort of riser? Fastway / Pivot Pegz .............................advise gratefully accepted

I have 40 mm universal type risers on my GS which cost $40- from Jason at Road and Race on Churchill Road a few years back.

I baulked at paying $220- for Pivot Pegs , and fitted a pair of Unlimited Parts S/S wide aerated pegs made for a Yam YZ. They cost around $ 40- again from R & R. They are an inch or so lower than stock and about as low as you would want if you like to change gear, brake or heel it over in the corners with your foot still on the footrest.

I dont stand up so I have no need pivot pegs or higher risers, and his combination is around 20% of the cost of the next step, and it does everything I want.

universal bar risers are normally only £20 odd and lower pegs are £72 from BOXXERPARTS.de. plus they do loads of other good stuff:D :thumb
get ya credit card out:drool

ive got 2 lots of risers on mi bars, about 2in in total and kept the original cables. one set is from nippy normans and brings the bars closer too, which is a brucy bonus. ive got the touratech lowered footpegs which makes a difference all round. still cant stand up completely comfortably. im 5ft 11.

I have 35 mm Migsel pegs and migsel lower footpegs they have made a huge difference. I have the standard bars turned around in the clamps to give maximum height and there was no need to change any of the cables.
