Hi,

It's winter, and in Norway this means that the bike is resting:-( But I have to be prepared for the next season. One thing I would like to improve is the control over the bike when I'm standing up.

Is there any lower pegs for this bike? I know there's many options for the standard GS, but those doesn't seem to fit or lower the stock pegs on the HP2.

I've only heard of people looking for lower pegs so that there is mroe room between the seat and pegs for your legs when sitting. If it's a case of your body is too bent when standing and therefore making it uncomfortable to control the bike, quite a few people put risers on to raise the handlebars - have you considered that?

Sorry I can't be of more help

I want a better position both sitting and standing, that's why I want to lower the pegs.

For the raise of handlebars option, I do have the wunderlich 'gabelbrückeset'

, and I haven's found any risers that fit to this unit

I had standard touratech bar risers machined to fit my HP seemed a very straightforward solution as everything I found got in the way of the tank and yolk arrangement. Only snag now I can't get the key into ignition...:blast

I put the bar risers on mine which can be put on a number of ways to move the bars forward or backward and I am happy with the change. Richard

Maybe its something else?

Perhaps you need to look at the suspension rather. If your spring preload on the front is too little you will pitch forward when you stand and want to lower the pegs likewise if its too much you'll lean too far back. With the Air shock in the rear the bikes balance shifts as the shock heats up the the rear raises. it is a tricky thing to balance out. idealy we need replace the suspension on the bikes, Ohlins in the rear is fantastic. the front is more tricky though. you can also move the forks up & down slightly in the triple clamps.

Perhaps try the air shock with slightly less pressure or use the Wunderlich stiffer springs in the front.
