ok i know it was in mcn but they reported 09 build hp2's being lower spec for the same money then you spec it up to bring the final build to £20k
if thats the case i'm cancelling
of course my dealer knows nuffin.

What is it that is dropped from the spec??

How can they possibly spec it any lower it already is only a motor, frame and two wheels

Glad got mine when I did as well but also very good to know they making them again next year.

Where EXACTLY did you see this, as far as i have been informed the HP2 Enduro was a once of build of 650 bikes, and that's it, the last 18 Have just landed in South Africa and the it finito.

page 11 motorcycle news this week, my dealer has come back saying theres no truth in the report and will back itup n writing for me.

What a load of rubbish that paper speaks in the classics section this week it also states that it cost Honda money every time they sold a VFR 750. I don't think Honda accountants would welcome that comment.

quiet week at MCN

a quiet week at MCN was the reason given by the guys at Donnington this weekend for this rubbish rumour! The lower spec bike already exists, its the 1200S...they say it will contiue in to 09 with the same if not better spec! now should i place that order......?

They will probably lower the spec by fitting decent forks and normal spring rear suspension, lower spec better bike

So it'll look like an HP2 but will be more like a R1200S the enduro bike I thought it was discontinued?

Speaking to my dealer - the rumour in MCN concerned de-speccing the HP2 Sport with current orders delayed by months at the moment, the HP2 Enduro is no more and not on the current dealer price lists, he didn't know the status of the HP2 Megamoto, other than there's not many about.

No carbon fibre just plastic look a like and it looks really cheap.
