Hi folks, Im sure this questions been asked before, however; does anyone know who makes the lowest seat for a 2021 1250GS?

I have the lowered frame bike with a low seat but could do with another inch or so (said the Bishop to the Actress) to get a little more flatter footed.

The Tourtech looks of interest but at £400 is a little expensive, especially if its no lower than my original BMW low seat.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Daytona M stars would help. I have had a pair since I got my 1st GS in 2016. All day comfortable, totally waterproof and top quality.

Try these offset lowering cams as well, there are some other options on ebay etc. Gives about 10mm.

So if you had a low suspension bike and used a standard seat on it and/or set the suspension level to high, would it then be standard bike height, or even higher , if the suspension difference is only 20mm?

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but
The BMW low seat on the low chassis bike I’m collecting next week is heated. Can they be “shaved” without losing the heating functionality, and if so can anyone recommend someone to do it in the South East of England? Are lower bungs worth getting? What about aftermarket extra low seats - which one gets you lowest without being too uncomfortable?
Thanks in advance.

I tried the lowering bungs but (for me) they offered little as the seat was then lower at the front which meant I kept sliding forward all the time. As previous some Daytona M Star boots will give you an extra 25mm heel height and 8mm in the rest of the sole(y)

No such thing as a low chassis bike

It's a factory low option X499

Lowering via shocks and stands

Low seat or ultra low seat

Utralow is by Kahedo / Nippys afaik

Ultalow seat & bobbins gets you to 780mm ish

They do a while you wait service but you have to book in advance - takes a few hrs to do each seat

So, I took the plunge and purchased, via Fleabay, a Tourtek ultra low seat and its now perfect for me at 5'7" and 29" inside trouser leg.
