Luggage help

I was hoping to use my Vario luggage that I had on my 1200 on my new 1250.

The side boxes are fine but the top box fixing is completely different.

Do I need an adapter plate of some kind to make it fit?

Please tell me it can be made to fit.

I'm guessing your rack doesn't have the Vario top box adapter plate on it...?

Doesn’t seem like it. I’ll phone the dealer tomorrow, maybe he’ll take pity on me and give me a deal.

Sounds like you left the adapter plate on your 1200. If you traded it in the dealer might have taken it off to put the standard plate back on and have it lying around and will fit it for free.
