Hi Guys
I appreciate this has been discussed before, but I am looking for some advise on luggage options for the new 1300 GS. I currently have Bumot luggage on my 1250 GSA and I have been really pleased with it. I understand that the Bumot luggage can be fitted to the new GS if the Vario brackets are removed and some frames are put in its place. Does anyone know if there is an option of hard luggage from a manufacturer that can be fitted to the GS without removing the vario bracket set up?

The varios are not bad at all, if you can actually get them. They're a bit urban looking but they'll carry your shit all the way

I’m using Givi with quick release frame. Vario mounts left in place, small bracket fitted to rear footrests.

I have decided not to go with a 1300GS now, sat on it today it felt to cramped for me. Took the 1300 GSA out for a test ride today and liked it, just thinking it over for a couple of days!!

Has anyone tried the Apduro rackless mounts for either the 1300GS or 1300GSA? Looks interesting.
Yes, I had them delivered to France. Excellent bits of kit; no mods to the bike, key-coded, on and off in seconds. Build quality is as good as my BMW Adeventure boxes. I’ve also bought the garage wall mounts for them. Only small gripe is the slight reduction in the opening at the top, caused by the seal design, which makes it more awkward to get my Kriega inner bags in.IMG_3542.jpeg

Mosko Moto Backcountry on mine.

As others have said, removing the existing brackets is straightforward.

I fitted Wunderlich xbags 32L - soft luggage. I think they look great, but it's all personal preference. I don't want a top box - I have an expandable tail pack tied on to the Wunderlich rack.

Any idea why these don’t ship to the UK?

I suggest you contact them, as they posted my wall racks to the UK and their website suggests they may now be shipping the boxes too.
Thanks, had a reply email from them today, they do provide to the UK, however its a slightly different process due to FedEx costs and ordering. :thumby:
