Right chaps slight problem here, a 130 80 17 will not fit. It touches the drive shaft. So has anyone got a knackerd 120 17 for experimental purposes?

Why not use the original 18" wheel ??

Yep Using a 4 stud paralever wheel machined down to fit a mono b/box. The wheel is a X laced 17
OK change of plan this bike is not going to be ready for easter trip so Quick project on the old bike is needed . Does any one know the centre to centre measurement fo a G/S shock?

Cheers FT That is the most consistent figure I have found.
I did some time calculations the other day and realised I would miss the summer if I kept on with the project soooooo a major decision was made and I made a new sub frame for my R100 bolted on a GS front end, made some brackets for a monoshock and bolted on a G/S shock. The project will have to wait till next winter as the warmer days are making me twitchy and I need to have a ride.

Parts to extend the s/a
Hi,
Where did you get the parts to extend the s/a ? and if you dont mind at what cost?
I've been collecting bits over the years to build a bike, currently I have a gs para frame, a couple of sets of wp forks, shocks and some exhaust bits.
I have a 1988 RT mono I run and may use it as a donor bike, but I would like to get the chassis sorted first before I move bits across.
Any advise/photos would be greatly appreciated.
