Your and arsey’s fault for I love mine now. Got it weirdly on sale at go-outdoors a month or so ago.
I bought one at the Wiltshire county show in the mid-90’s because it was a getting painfully crispy ‘up top’. I could have paid £20 for a cheapo but stumped up the £40 thinking it would be a good investment. It looks ragged now, as you know, but the lifetime warranty got me a new one last summer and the old’un still gets packed for bike trips. Almost indestructible, comfy, and they keep Martin from having more chunks of his head removed, so that’s a good thing, I think…
