Macbook and Mapsource?

Hi guys, another laptop question.

I'm looking at buying a Mac/PC laptop to take touring with me to download photos/video/tracks.

I am interested in getting a Macbook and running Mac OS and Windows on it. However, does anyone know, if using the Mac and running windows on it whether or not i can run Mapsource and connect to my Navigator III?

I fancy the Mac for it's multimedia simplicity, but also need to be able to use mapsource.

So any thoughts from anyone on the subject welcomed, thanks.

I use Mapsource on a MacBook Pro, but run parallels which allows me to run a complete XP session in which I run Mapsource.

There is also an interesting alternative I'm keen on trying, but not sure if it supports Mapsource -
