magic trackpad - is it good?

My Mighty mouse isn't so mighty anymore

I'm thinking of getting a trackpad to replace it - any one use one and loved it? tried one and hate it?

i've had two. one cracked and started acting up and i never use the other one.

magic mouse is great once you get used to it. not massively better than the mighty mouse, but it doesn't have that stupid ball that needs cleaning every 5 minutes

how and where does a Trackpad get cracked? Did you drop it

i thought it a reasonable assumption when you stated that you'd PM'd a chap who offered to sell you one

i don't know how it happened, i just found it cracked one day.

they have a very thin layer of glass on the top. when it first cracked, it worked fine for a while, but then it cracked some more & it only had random control.

that's cos i was on the ipad and forgot to long press the bottom comma -

I'll answer your question Dahoum. I've been using the Magic Trackpad for over a year now, and although it felt a bit strange at first, I wouldn't be without it now. It's a cracking bit of kit. I enjoy watching my 60 year old accountant trying to use it when he comes round every so often.

Best bit of kit with the mac once you set it up and get used to it
it is very easy quick and logical to use.
