Well it's a doddle to fit and same size as oe, it sounds great :D , should really upset the white van man, if you require anything louder then the Nautilus has to be the one, but for a ten minute job and two wire's I can recomend the 80.

If any one wants either horns they are in stock at my local motor shop (01260 271741) he now can take the card over the phone, or if you give me a shout I will get you one posted out, about £3.00 postage, so its still cheaper than Motor World.

Hope the strap in the picture is not putting too much strain on that oil pipe... :D

I need a BMW Can- Bus plug same sex as is on the horn with a small lead going to two spade terminals.

Does anyone know if you are able to buy the connector with a lead, I could just about manage to solder on the correct spade connector ends if I could just locate the lead / plug bit? :help

Had a word with Nippy Norman today and the 1150 hasn't got a Can- Bus system. The connector I wanted is just the normal horn connector, however after chatting to NN it looks like the neatest way to install a Magnum on an 1150 GS is to cut the wires and solder on two spade connectors after all.

I would like to keep the connector original and not hack into the wiring if at all possible.
I done dis. I used a couple of sewing machine needles, crimped the blunt ends into the business ends of female spade connectors of suitable size and then covered the exposed bits in heat shrink :thumb

You can get very small spades and make a short lead with normal spades at the other end.

Got horn sorted today at BM dealer.
New lead soldered onto horn wire with two spade connectors on.
They snipped the old connector off with an inch or so cable attached so if I ever need to put it back to original I can.

Horn sounds good as well. Even better news they didn't charge me for doing it which is very good of them. :angel
