Main Beam Fault

The Lamp warning started coming on imtermitantly about 1000km ago, couple of days ago it stayed on and the bulb had gone. Yesterday I got to BMW and picked up a new one, chnged it today, worked fine...at first... now this evening the lamp warning came back on and no main beam again. Tomorrow I;ll check the connectors.

Any thoughts? have other had tis experience. its a 2007 bike with 30,000km o the clock. On replacing the bulb I was very careful not to touche the bulb itself.

Water in the handle bar switch, or water in a connector somewhere............just some thoughts

Lamp was back on this morning so obviously a bad connection somewhere..... guess I'm playing sparky this weekend.
