Man with a van.......

That new one you brought looks a bit tatty if you ask me.:augie:augie

If I were you I'd sell it back to the silly arse who sold it as he is having sellers remorse...:blast:blast

Enjoy Roger.. Me and Ash reckon you have now own one of the very last ones in that condition anywhere. :thumb2

Its an exceptional bike.

Is it me, or did the spotlights shrink and the PIAA on the guards change colour between the last two pictures on the original post???

First set of lights did look huge!

Edit - Ahh! I just got the meaning of the Pat Butcher quip!

Ignore me - Dohh!

So k, I'll explain the difference in the PIAA colours as well. In the 15 minutes it took me to switch from the original to the new the light changed enough for the flash to come on.

Funny thing is even though I've listed the originals in the for sale section I'm now starting to like them :blast

HAd a bit of a head clearing fiddle today and now realise how easy these 1100's are to work on. Had a Hepco and Becker rear rack in the garage, their latest design for the F800GS which fitted straight on to the 1100's rear rack with no need to drill it using some left over alloy plate cut to size as a support under the bikes rack.

Was going to order a bike specific rack so just saved myself some hard earned and can now fit the black Gobi that's been gathering dust under the stairs. Me likey :D

Checked the ignition switch lead and front brake pipe from the handlebar to frame yet?

The outer covering on my ignition lead was but the insulation looked ok, changed it anyway, and the new one seems to have a braided type of outer cover which I reckon will be more cracking resistant. Got the brake pipe changed even though it has had braided lines, better safe than sorry :)
