Map Info ?

When I go into Map Info it shows me the maps installed, 2 of them.
CN Europe NT 2014.10 3D ( removable tick )
and
CN Europe NT 2014.10 ( Non-removable tick )
Is this normal to have two maps the same except for the 3D?

Also mentioning 3D, comparing the map quality to my TomTom 1005 the Garmin is very poor detail, is this normal or have I got something set wrong. The menu is setup for 3 D display.

Both maps shown is normal for 660

Not seen TomTom display so can't comment on map quality but it may be better if you zoom in
