There may be some of you who share a condition I suffer from; a fascination for maps & staring at them.
If so I offer you no redemption but further tempetation.
The OSI site has been available for some time & is most useful.

Many of you may already have used it - the historic overlays are fascinating (well to me anyhow).

From today http://downsurvey.tcd.ie/index.html
is available. It is more a source of land ownership details than anything else. I will waste a few hours over it - you may choose to so so also or to ignore it all but you now know it is there.

Maps

Hi Gerry and Bin, I've been under the radar for a while, but I'm back. Insured the bike with Adelade last weekend hoping for good weather:mad:
I am fascinated with maps as well, and the OS historical. Presume you have looked at Griffiths Valuations. Have been trying to trace the family ancestors for a while now, originally from Carlow/Athy area.
Cheers
D:)

That's a shame, I'm from the area on the map called Dufferin but there is no information for it :(
