Mapsource and Mac

for those who like me have or are about to go to a Mac from a PC.

Ah it seems the doc is too big to attach so if anyone wants a word doc with fairly simple steps (it must be I managed it!) please drop me a PM or email.

i've tried using map converter on my PC, but it doesn't see CN09, just the older CN08

CN09 is installed on the PC and works fine.

won't see CN10 either, so can't transfer newer maps to my mac. looks like i'll be using windows for a while then

Currently on hold with garmin support.... mine just shows CN08 as well... I'll ask.... in fact just asked... watch this space...

Garmin man says there should be no reason why the Mac doesn't see V9

I'm now making sure I've sent each bit of mapsource that was zipped over to the mac, and then see if I can see V9

my experience is that if Mapconverter doesn't see it, it doesn't get included in any transfer file, and is not available in RoadTrip.

Map converter converted all the various files like CN07, C320, CN08 and V9.

I had to load each one onto a 2GB stick, and then move them over to the mac... now everything is working fine and the mac is seeing all of them including V9.....

it took a bit of sorting but seems that the windows lap top is now redundant

did all those maps appear in the mapconverter dialog box? on my PC, only CN8 is showing up, so there is no way to create the files
