Mapsource help please

could any of you good people point me in the right direction please, I have mapsource on my PC but no maps when I plug my zumo in ? where can I GET THEM FROM

The map is on the DVD that came in the box with the Zumo.....

If the Zumo is new then registering with Garmin will invoke the nuMaps Guarantee which enables you to download the latest mapping within the first 60 days of ownership (well the first 60 days after your Zumo got its first satellite fix to be more accurate). Downloading this latest mapping should also give you option to install the mapping onto your PC.

Do you have a myGarmin account? when did you last update your mapping? If the answers are yes and within the last 12 months respectively then you should be able to download the mapping via your account and specify PC only install as an option, ISTR that it's a little hidden but it is in there.

If you have a myGarmin account but no mapping updates within the last 12 months, or only original mapping, then you'll need to phone Garmin and ask them to enable a download on your account. They may ask you to buy a mapping upgrade, get lifetime mapping from Handtec. Was sub £50 a few weeks ago but seems to have gone back up slightly. Still about £25 cheaper than from Garmin for the same product.
