i plotted a map in mapsource then transfered it to the zumo, when i turned on the zumo and selected the route all it kept saying was go to the beginning of the route then as i started the journey it kept saying it was running in simulation mode, after pulling my hair out for half an hour i pulled in a garage and bought a Michelin map and never looked back, what did i do wrong? cheers

when you first selected the route on the zumo it would have asked you the question

Navigate to start of route?
If you don't want to have to start on the exact spot that you put into mapsource then you should have told it no

Then it picks up the route as you ride on any part of it and continues it for you.
