I'm trying to print some routes out from Mapsource, these are cycle routes between 25 and 60 miles so not too big. I want to print at a scale of 1m but in order to get the map onto a single page have to print at scales of 1.5 or 2m.

Is it possible to resize the image so that a route scaled at 1m will fit onto a single A4 page.

cheers.

No - not via mapsource that I know of . Best is to just do a print screen of the map when you have it all on screen and copy paste it into MS Word. You can then stretch it from the corner to make it fit nicely on the page .

Yes, it fits the A4 page but only at the scale at which I screen dump. E.g. If the map is shown at a higher scale eg fits the mapsource window, with toolbars, at 1.5m, it does not show the minor roads required for the route. At 1m scale it doesn't fit the mapsource window an the map doesn't fit within the mapsource window, so cutting off part of the toute when screen dumped.

Thinking about it, how does Able get his routes into one image with so much road detail

www.screenprint32v3.com/ Perhaps you could use this useful little program to select just the area of the map you are interested in - then stretch the saved image in Paintshop, or similar?

I have detail set to highest as most of the roads being used are minor B's. I'll try the S/W see how it goes.
