Just a warning. Today those lovely people at the Highways Agency (or Leeds City Council - whichever
) have decided to 'resurface' the A658 Harrogate Road from Leeds Bradford Airport through to the top of Poole Bank.
'Resurface' means 'spray down some tar and dump an inch's depth of pea-sized gravel on top of it'. So the entire stretch of road is a nightmare for 4 wheels never mind 2.
There are massive heaps formed already at all junctions and in lines down the road and visibility is down to about 100 yards with all the dust.
Avoid if possible folks and go careful!
