Marzocchi Shiver on XChallenge?

Are you still running them in original spec?

Yes.
As you may of read, they are stiff as standard, but I find them perfect with both tanks full and my Giant-loop on the back.
They are a good pair of forks, easily maintained and all the pieces to convert to XC fitting are off-the-shelf, without any need for machining.

Not ridden a bike with 48mm forks yet but the WP4357's work well too. They came off a 625sxc and, other than seals, bushes and setting the oil level and clickers, they are running the same spec as when I bought them from ebay.

Front end came yesterday :)

And some other stuff too:
- 2x 10w aux leds
- TT 20mm risers
- TT large sump guard
- TT lower oilplug and side stand hard part.

I have't done nothing for the Shiver yet, only opened package.

Finally got a set of original front legs with inner tubes from Belgium. Thanks Timpo for the tip!

I'll get them to lathe in a few days. But am i right if i think that fork (inner) tubes are same in xc:s original front end and in Shiver? I couldn't find differences in a glance. If so, theres a possibility that i don't need to remove casted parts from tubes.

what sort money are you looking at to get forks?

i used just put wp forks in bikes but never worried about exact sizes etc to match bike
