Why don't the French have a motorcycle brand or two of their own.

They do.

Sherco and Voxan spring to mind , plus Peugeot have made scooters for years

You said you believed they were designed by the French, then said it was a shame (that they didn’t design it ) as they would probably have come up with something quite unique .
Doesn't make sense .

To be honest I had never heard of them until you posted this. So a quick Google said designed in france but made in China.

Think it's probably fair to say the business might be French but the bike mostly a parts bin Chinese collaboration?.

Does that sound about right or is there more to them than that?
