This weekend I organised a 3 night weekend of riding, beer and bollox for a few mates from this place, in doing so I brought 2 different groups that I ride with together, namely Mick and his posse who I've known and ridden with for nigh on 15 years and also Humvee and Gerry H, again who I've ridden with, since UKGSER was formed in about 2001/2002

So 2 different groups of 4 (Humvee/Gerry/OIE/Joybringer) & (Micky/Bilko/Long Tom/Mr Smooth) were 8

It was a great opportunity to meet up and ride in the Yorkshire Dales, something that the southern crowd, don't get to do very often and show them my 'back yard', however although Mick gets up here regularly - but I managed to show him a few roads that he's not done before

The weather was kind to us and we had 2 hot and dry days, on roads that were mainly minor and unclassified and were virtually traffic free:clap

There was a mix of bikes from my oldest - a 1150 GSA, to F8GS's and 12GSA and Steve's new WC 12GSA

We rode the North Pennines, Weardale and Teesdale on the Sat, covering Cumbria/Co Durham,Northumberland and Yorkshire and the Dales on the Sunday

This is how it started on the Friday night in Masham's White Bear so the 2 groups got acquainted

Malc and Steve

Pimms O'clock after Saturday's ride............

Oscar and Gerry

The others are on their way home now;)
