Master cylinder sight glass

Hi All.
Anybody replace sight glass on master cylinder ( r1100rt ) I know can get glass and seal from motoworks just wonder do I need use silicon or just pop glass in

No need for silicon. Gently tap a screwdriver through the old sight glass the pry out with a seal puller/blunt screwdriver. Clean the sealing face and put a smear of clean oil on the seal. Use a large socket to tap it home. Job done.

Wow there, because that's the procedure for an oil sight glass not a master cylinder sight glass which may be different!

Can you buy just the brake fluid sight glass?

Cheers I seen that , it's Honda master cylinder thought bmw might be different. Thanks anyway
