Hi guys,

Just wondering how much life you're getting from them.

I got 6500 miles, front is still ok, rear one is starting to get square, I think that I could get another 500-1000 miles from them.

Thanks!
Juanma.

3,500 and the rear was noticeably squaring and it was past the wear bars at 4,800. At that point the front probably had 1,500-2,000 miles left but I replaced them both with Conti TA2's. I've always liked Michelin tires including Anakee 2's but for whatever reason Anakee 3's don't work for me.

I got 6,800 out of the rear and it punctured but was probably good for another 500 miles. It had squared off a lot by then.

I think they are good all rounded tyres if you don't spend too much time on motorways .... I agree the tend to squared but I am quite please in general. Coming from Japanese bikes on pirelli diablo.

Thanks guys!

Any one else passed the 7k Mark?

4500 miles from new and my rear was down to the bars (but not squared off) so was replaced, now at 7000 miles the original front is approx 3/4 worn and the new back is half worn (but has a gouge out of it). I'm not a fan of Anakee 3 because the back has stepped out a couple of times when I wouldn't have expected it to, so will will try TKC70 next.

6500 miles mainly touring. Good tyre as far as im concerned , now on PR4, think the ride quality is now marginally better.

9K from the front is quite impressive!!!

SiRich, what do you mean by: "ride quality is now marginally better"? Stability, noise, feeling?

I am considering the PR4 as well, but I've done a few green lanes and I quite like the Anakee so probably I will stay with them.

Thanks!

I always found the bike a bit harsh on manhole covers etc, tiny bit better now.

23,000 Km (14,300 miles) and counting. Been hoping they'd wear out so I can change them.

Actually, just checked, more like 13,900 miles.

Whaaaaaaat!

14k ???

Have you ever accelerated or brake at all?

Just joking mate, that is a ver impressive number... What is the secret?

I got 11185 miles out of the rear and it punctured, now on PR4. The front has done 21750 miles and counting. At this point the front has still a reasonable amount of rubber left, I reckon good for a few thousand miles.

Mine will stay on until they resemble the shape of a distorted polygon :D

I got 5,500 out of my Anakees. Put a PR4 on the back and it feels like a new bike. Very impressed with it.
Will put one on the front before my trip to Corsica.

14500 on the front! Can't seem to wear it out! Rear's a different story though. 4000 and badly squared off - annoying cos the treads really good but will have to replace to to crap handling

My rear has been battered....
Anyway, it's done about 5000 got a fee more left then I'll put a pr4 on the back. The front still has wayyyyyy more life in it so I'll keep it on for a while longer

Put some new Anekee 3's on today and rear was at 8700 and just on the wear limit markers. Not bad really and I had a 3500 mile trip inc lots of twisters in Italy etc :beerjug:
