Thanks to things moving on a pace, my iPod memory now exceeds my G4 memory by 20gb

So, need some additional storage, pretty well exclusively for music and photos. Can't be arsed with piddling about with discs all the time, so need some plug-in extra memory of some sort.

Any personal reccomendations?

You havn't said which Mac you have, i hav an iMac LCD G4 computer... and have recently done this: following my DVD drive going belly up....

Having "upgraded" to OSX 10.4 the computer had slowed down quite significantly obviously a bit bloatier than previous versions!

Browsing the internet was starting to get annoying, downloading pages had slowed right down. Loading programs had become a bit of a lottery...

The 2GB has definately replaced the speed and improved the performance past my PC again (it had started to lag behind), well worth doing.

The upgrade in total cost me £350 ish: (including a new printer and a memeory stick!) All from Ebuyer:

Yeahbutnobut - that's all Windowze crip - there's usually a better way with Macs.

Any on-line storage for stuff like this that's free? As you may be able to tell, I know fick all about this, as I'm a man who thought "why would I need more than 40gb of HDD storage?" till yesterday evening.

maplins were doing a 250gb seagate drive for £80 last week.

Even the matching ones for a mac mini are only £139 per quarter.
