ML250 SE Executive. Registered April 2012. Purchase from MB Southport in 2016, one previous owner. Owned by and registered to my wife.
Dark grey exterior, interior anthracite Artico leather and matt aluminium trim, zoned climate-control.

2,143 cc, 201 BHP (204 PS) twin-turbo, 7 speed automatic Tiptronic gearbox with steering wheel paddle shift.

19" alloys - Four new Goodyear Eagle all-season tyres in October 2024, have covered less than 5,000 miles.
Includes a Witter detachable towbar which was used to support multi-bicycle rack when the children were younger.

We bought the ML with a view to it being our forever car - the recent acquisition of a second Old English Mastiff puppy has put paid to that.
We are now the owners of a VW Transporter 6.1 LWB crew-cab, which is significantly less enjoyable to drive than the ML.

Current registration - PK12 EXW, the photos show it on my wife's plate which has been transferred to the Transporter.
Full service history, most recently a B service in April 2025 at 64,810. The next service is due in April 2026, a low-cost A oil service.

Current mileage 65,360 - on SORN as it is not currently taxed.

Engine management software update and new NOx sensors under MB warranty by MB Southport in October 2024, with five year unlimited mileage cover from MB UK.
The car is running better than prior to the software update, and the MPG is improved.
We see mid 30's around town and achieved 40+ on a steady run across the Netherlands to Northern Germany.

New OEM throttle body installed in July 2025 by MB Tech, Warrington, a common issue with the OM651 engine.

MOT until December 2025, I will put a fresh MOT on at point of sale. The car has been maintained without compromise, no advisories over the ten year history.

Asking £10,500 which is lower than any comparable spec/mileage on Autotrader.

I have many additional pictures, please let me know if you would like further details.

I presume with that redline figure it's a diesel ...... otherwise how would one know ? (I am not a MB person !) Diesel would not tie in with those mpg figures .. odd ??

Are you in the market to buy it? No? Thought not, so why piss on his advert??

That’s a lovely car Chopper. GLWTS.

Cracking car, superb engine, I so wish I had the space.

GLWS 👍

This is my 2013 ML250, bought when I saw a link on here in 2022, had 63000 miles when I bought it now 130000 miles, it’s the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. The level sensors were seized when I got it £75, had to replace the original battery due to lack of use in lockdown and £200 on a rear light unit, that’s it. I’ve got the 93ltr tank and always get between 35 & 40 mpg per tank, when I change it’ll be another one of these. GLWS

I appreciate the positive comments - the key to longevity with the OM651 engine is frequent oil change with a quality low-SAPS oil.

Extended service intervals of 12,000 - 18,000 miles are intended to reduce fleet costs during the first three years, stacking up issues for later years.
Modern diesel engines deliver huge torque and exceptional mpg, 6,000 mile oil changes will repay the investment many times over.

As Dan comments, high 30's mpg is easily achieved if you drive smoothly.

I drive at 65mph on cruise on the motorway (70% ish of my driving) & put it in sport to rag it on the B roads, surprisingly planted for such a heavy high car.

Agreed, the 2.1 diesel engine is an impressive unit.
Later versions have post DPF particle sensors which are problematic.

Most if looking to buy would know it’s a diesel and those figures are about right
The ML is a big old bus and a great car
