Merging routes in Mapsource

I have two routes A to B, and B back to A but via a different route - how do I merge them into one route in Mapsource?

Why would you want to?

If you really must, then enter your route waypoints as A; B; A and calculate route.

Then use the route tool to drag the return route via your intended roads.

Thanks for the response - The two routes are quite complicated but crossover at a common point "B" making a figure of eight. OK, I can rework it all as you suggest or on reaching point B just start route B to A on the Quest. I was rather hoping that it might be possible to just add the second route to the first, perhaps somehow using copy/paste, to make just one

When you doubleclick a route in Mapsource you get a list from which you can copy and paste as much as you wish. So copy the relevant points from your B-A-route and paste it into your A-B-route and save the result under a different name.

Or maybe I don't understand your problem?

Actually you were spot on - many thanks - it should prove a useful tool when making up a quick ride from assorted and pre-existing routes
