Just to thank you lot for all the support and kind words you gave when my bike was nicked this year.
So wishing all of you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a fantastic NEW YEAR......we could all do with one.

Have a good one,

Merry Christmas.

Update us if you get another airhead or start the restoration of the Morini.

All the best John, sorry for you loss....I still keep my eyes peeled....it's habit I can't help it. Get stuck into that Morini eh. :thumb

Meery Crimbo

Merry Christmas to you too John, and all othyer Airhead owners/riders/enthusiasts out there too.

Morini, we like a Morini. A 3 1/2 by any chance?

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you have a good one despite everything.

No family here this year . . struggling to get to grips with Zoom, WhatsAP, Facetime . whatever the 'kids' are using these days :D.

Grandkids are having a good time by the sound of it.

Here's hoping normality (whatever that is) will return in 2021.

All the best, folks.

Bob.

Yes, the Morini is in bits, engine coming on, just oil seals and gaskets to find, spares not that easy now NLM has gone. One thing you notice when doing this thing is that how well the boxer twin was engineered for simplicity and maintenance. The Morini 3.5 is truely classic engine designed with flair and substance but, for me, nothing beats the boxer. Got the insurance cash now but no where near what my GS was worth. Strange, dream about the GS and still see it from time to time in my mind. That's the problem, will another Airhead ever be the same?

Hey Scarf, good luck with that Morini, and sorry to hear NLM aren’t around any more. I still have a workshop manual for the 3 1/2 if you need one.

Thanks Nin, I have the blue one and a badly copied "engine strip" which was documented by NLM but unfortunately disappeared with them. My copy has come in very useful together with some very good you tube videos. Hope to get it all back together and on the road for the Spring but dark nights, the internet and too much beer is tempting me towards another Airhead. Quite fancy a g/s but they tend to go for big money now so maybe an st... :augie

Cheers
