see my post here. they are good boxes and excellent value for money. it was either the TT balanced system or the alpos balanced panniers from bykebitz and the alpos won out on value for money. they attach/detach in seconds, which is very convenient.

I've got Alpos boxes on SW Motech QR rails. Great system as far as the QR goes, leave very little on the bike and takes 30 seconds to get them off.
The boxes are OK, not fully waterproof, but I use liners so the stuff inside stays dry.
The whole setup is a bit wide for my liking and if Civils or Verns were QR I'd get them.

There is a company using Pelican cases for panniers as well, they are plastic but very strong and seem to be getting good reviews.
