I've been looking for a screen to go on my R100GS that doesn't look like it should be fitted to a Honda C90, nothing too big, no poles holding it on to the handle bars etc etc.
I met a guy I haven't seen for years at the Milan show last year,ex Paris Dakar racer from back in the day, anyhow we got talking about BMW's, airheads, racing, this and that and he asked what i was up to now...

"nothing much"I said, "now the cuttlefish business has been sold,I've 6 kids and a dog,I'm having fun, riding bikes, you know" I asked him the same question and it turns out he makes a few bits and bobs for BMW's among them an after market screen ( got there in the end )
Here are some photos of it.....

The quality of the fittings are good and although I haven't fitted it yet (as you can see) I think they look great and I reckon they will keep the wind and weather off.
Let me know if anyone out there wants to give one a try??

I quite loke the look of that. I've tried the French made one supplied by Motorworks with the stays but found it quite noisy.

How much are these?

R100GS

It looks ok . Better than my cobbled efforts .
I have to say , that if someone were to come up with an "Adventure"stylee effort
of a fairing that actually worked , i would be in the market .
Whilst researching this a while ago , even the guys over on Adv rider in the US were
looking . There is a Market for a Decent looking Functional Fairing.

This is my effort . It functions, but isnt to stylish .

This is the problem, you want a great looking minimal screen that doesn't hide the original, but at the same time it needs to work. I do like the look and fit of the new one though.

Hi Chas, they are £120 posted. Not cheap but well designed and well made too.

I like the look of that.

Have you a price yet?

If it is in my range I would have a dabble at one :thumb
Yes £120 posted, not cheap but been looking for ages and they just aren't any nice ones without fixing to the bars.

Hi Fllorence

Does he do a screen for the later type R100Gs with the roo bars. I know parabellum and Ermax do them but always good to see what else is out there. That screen you have looks well made and seems sympathetic to the original screens design.

No, only for the round headlight, sorry.

I don't go fast enough to warrant one but it certainly looks very well made :thumb2

Then again, just ordered a new blue sticker for the R100GS at £26  so this looks a bargain !

"Blue Sticker" do you mean disabled badge? I thought they were free as long as you have a disability?
