Mileage advice before Hilltop

Thinking about using Hilltop services on new bike, when it arrives. Presume I should wait for 1st service to be done at 600 miles or would a longer wait be advised to bed everything in?

I'd absolutely wait until after the 1st service, if nothing else you'll be running on fresh clean oil free of any build lubricants / debris etc.

I was thinking about adding the Akro exhaust but £750 is a bit steep I reckon so think £350 ish will probably be money better spent

My new GSA will have the full Ti system fitted before I take delivery. It'll then go to hilltop after the first service. I'm going to spank the tits off it before the first service.

My XR wasn't run in carefully. In fact none of my bikes were run in as they should have been. My S1000RR needed a new rear tyre at its first 600 mile service even though it had been restricted. Must have been a shit tyre. Geoff said they should get 'beans' from the start.

That begs another question of whether you should 'run it in' or spank it from the word go? Like you the black Akro exhaust will look great on the TB so I have to stay strong, don't do it, don't do it she will kill me unless she doesn't find out !!
