1st post on here, so be gentle.

I acquired an 08 GSA last year as a non-runner.
The fault turned out to be a broken 12v wire to the ABS module but the previous owner had changed out the complete unit and ruined the original.
Anyway, got the bike running with the only alarm being Error 5E59 - wrong module fitted.

All has been good for several months until yesterday when I kept getting limp mode at 25mph but no stored faults.
Further investigation leads me to believe this is ABS/ASC related as when I disable ACS it runs fine, but I get a yellow light at 60mph.
When I disable ABS it runs fine and no lights.

However, the really strange thing is a 10 mile run added nearly 400 miles to the Odometer. The speedo can be sitting at zero but the digital readout was at 40mph. As soon as I moved off, it added 10 miles immediately.
The motoscan app has the front and rear wheel sensors reading the same as the speedo while the digital readout was +50mph on top of that and the CAN bus adding miles at a ridiculous rate.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Absolutely no idea at all I'm afraid but welcome from sunny Bangor. :)

Cheers Robbie

Fault located - rear speed sensor. Have disconnected it and all OK. Hope it is the speed sensor and not the ECU but seems to behave with it out.

Managed to go 40 miles last night in the garage with the engine off. Everytime i rocked the bike it started counting up the miles. Had to turn off the ignition to get it to stop.
Glad I have a low mileage bike, so didn't make any difference, but what a strange fault.

Very strange, there's a really good auto electrician in Dundonald if it's any help to you.
