Help! I bought one of those mini foot pumps from Hein Gericke in May '03. Didn't get round to using it until I got a puncture in France June '04 and to found it to be useless, letting more out than it put in
I ended up using 8 of those CO2 canisters.
Anyway, I've just tried to figure out why it doesn't work and it would appear that the bit [technical name please] that clamps to the tyre valve doesn't actually grip at all and this is where the air is escaping. Spoke to HG who tell me I'm out of my 2 year warranty period... typical
As that bit is threaded and just screws onto a male (or possibly female? I'll check) fitting on the pipe does anyone know if/where I can pick up that part as a spare?
TIA
Adam
