any one tried any after market mirrors that youd recomend for the1150 gs the standards are nt the best

I couldn't find any after market mirrors so I just fitted some extenders to add an additional inch in the height.

Not 100% certain, but I think the rectangular mirrors of the later K1200RS will fit.
I have seen them fitted to an R1150R, only mod needed was to shave a little bit of plastic off the left hand one to allow full movement of the fast idle lever.

Wunderlich do some pretty cool after market mirrors but I'm not sure if they fit the 1150.

These are what I've fitted & they look great but, like Hank says, they need a small modification before they fit properly. The drawback is that they're not cheap. I got a pair off eBay that needed some tidying up & they were still about £30. In good order, they can go for £50-80 a pair...

This is the only picture I can find with them fitted. (Sorry, I know it's a repost...).
